The Calcasieu Building was built in 1914 by the renowned Atlee B. Ayres architect and is currently on the National Register of Historic Places.


Calcasieu is proudly owned by a local non-profit organization, known as Alamo Community Group (ACG). ACG has been providing quality affordable housing since 1990 and is a chartered member of Neighbor Works America, a national network of more than 240 community development and affordable housing organizations.
